Farms, factories and harbours: drop it beside one and it reads what it handles -- a locked store for every cargo, the line and the trucks to run it. 1,000 / 2,000 / 5,000 each.
A locked store for every cargo the factory uses and makes, a line to the factory and the trucks to run it — set up for you the moment you place it. 1,000, 2,000 or 5,000 per cargo.
PYT - Factory Buffer. Protect Your Throughput. A PYT (Play Your Transport) mod by Epod — the little brother of PYT - Mega Warehouse.
You know the moment. The livestock farm fills up with wool nobody collects, and the meat stops with it. Or the farm has spread so far your trains can't reach it any more. Factory Buffer is the small yard you drop beside the factory: it reads what the factory uses and makes, builds one locked store for each, and keeps the goods moving.
Mod developer's tip: keep the train out of reach of the factory, so it always keeps the produce fresh! With the station reaching the buffer but not the factory, everything flows farm → trucks → buffer → train, in order.
Every Factory Buffer on your map at a glance — jump from buffer to buffer in one click, with the farms and factories they serve in view.

Already running PYT - Mega Warehouse? That's the big one: a locked store for every cargo in the game, 500 to 5,000 each, with built-in truck stops since 1.3. Factory Buffer is for one factory at a time. They work side by side, and a buffer feeds a Mega Warehouse by train as happily as it feeds a factory.

1.1.6 — CHEAPER, NOT FREE
The buffer heard the warehouse got a price list and asked for one too. A smaller one, it insisted.
In plain terms: the same three cost settings as Mega Warehouse 2.4, at about a quarter of the price; left alone, nothing changes.
