Our planner had its own window, its own list and its own button. Players kept asking where the line they wanted was. So we moved in with the game: the planner now lives inside the game's own windows.
In plain terms: open any freight line or vehicle — the PYT - Load Manager card is right there. Click a stop, slide, done.
- A card in every freight line's window: each stop as a bar of cargo icons on their colours — what it carries at a glance. Click a stop to set it right there.
- Pick cargo by icon: a row per kind (liquid, bulk, flatbed, goods) — bright = loads here, dark = off. Only what the vehicle can carry and the stop can supply (or the line brings in).
- Empty is a cargo: leave room on purpose. A stop's share is what the vehicle leaves with — 100% meat at the farm, 50% at the first shop, the rest goes on to the next. Split one load over several stops.
- It saves itself — no Apply button. Smart fill and Bin expired switch per stop, right in the card.
- Every freight vehicle: mixed trucks, the game's own trucks (one cargo at a time — Empty still lets them drop part of a load), trains, ships, planes and helicopters. Trains and ships in whole wagons and holds, specialised wagons each in their own section, general ones in theirs.
- Load Manager in every freight vehicle's window, and the PYT button opens one page with tabs — Trucks, Trains, Ships, Planes, Helicopters — every line with its cargo icons. Set loads right there too.
- Trucks take up to 4 cargo types (one per compartment) — the card says so instead of letting a fifth wait at the stop forever.
- Smart fill leaves a one-cargo stop alone — there was nothing to give its room to, it just sent vehicles away part empty.
- Mismatched trains: the card spots a line whose trains are built differently and offers to put each build on its own line.
- The (i) on the page explains it all — and hides a small sketch from the PYT team.
